No parade to be held at the 2011 Festival.
Traditionally, on the Saturday of the Jacaranda Festival a street parade has been held. For a number of reasons, not least of which was the consequences of the events of January this year, a parade will unfortunately not be held at this year’s Festival.
This decision was not taken lightly, and the street parade will be considered as part of next year’s Festival planning.

2010 Winners
The parade was great this year, heaps of awesome floats and marching groups, and plenty of people lining the streets to enjoy the spectacle.
A big congratulations to everyone who participated in the parade this year, you are all fantastic and we hope to see you again next year. Well done to the parade winners!
