Jacaranda Jams: Battle of the Bands is Ready to Rock Goodna!
The volume is going up at this year’s Goodna Jacaranda Festival as Jacaranda Jams returns for another huge Battle of the Bands competition, bringing together an exciting mix of emerging and established local talent from across South East Queensland.
From country blues and classic rock to funk, reggae, hard rock and party anthems, this year’s lineup delivers something for every music lover. Whether you’re passionate about discovering new artists, supporting local music, or simply looking for a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment, Jacaranda Jams is set to be one of the festival’s standout attractions.
Meet the Bands
Damien J Johnson Band
Ipswich’s own Damien J. Johnson has built a reputation as one of the region’s most accomplished independent artists, blending country, blues, folk and roots influences with authentic Australian storytelling. An award-winning performer who has supported major Australian acts and appeared on ABC Country, Damien and his band bring polished musicianship, memorable songs and genuine stage presence.


NOISE
A young and energetic original rock outfit, NOISE delivers guitar-driven rock inspired by legendary acts including The Beatles, Radiohead and Guns N’ Roses. Their youthful enthusiasm and original material make them an exciting wildcard in this year’s competition.
The Curve
Known for high-energy performances and crowd engagement, The Curve are seasoned Queensland entertainers with a massive repertoire spanning classic rock, Aussie pub favourites and modern hits. Expect powerful vocals, huge sing-alongs and plenty of dancefloor moments.


Emplade
Brisbane-based five-piece Emplade brings an infectious mix of funk, soul, reggae, rock and disco. With groove-heavy rhythms and feel-good energy, they’re guaranteed to get the crowd moving and provide a different flavour in this year’s lineup.
Redhead
Combining rock, pop-rock, country-rock and blues influences, Redhead is a talented five-piece focused on delivering feel-good live entertainment. Their broad musical style and experienced musicianship make them a strong contender for the Jacaranda Jams crown.


Rose Farm Reapers
Bringing together elements of rock, blues, folk and hard rock, Rose Farm Reapers have earned a loyal local following through energetic live performances and classic rock influences. Expect big riffs, driving rhythms and plenty of passion.
The Gamble
Rounding out the lineup is The Gamble, a band ready to put everything on the line in pursuit of Battle of the Bands glory. With competitors ranging from seasoned performers to exciting up-and-coming acts, every band will need to bring their best to impress both the judges and the crowd.
