A VERY EXCITING FIRST NIGHT
DanSing’s (A Quest for Talent) first Heat on Monday proved to be very exciting with many talented performers strutting their stuff for the Judges and tentative and appreciative audience members.
The Semi Finals are due to be held on Saturday 29th October at 3pm at the Jacaranda Festival at Evan Marginson Park, Goodna. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy once again the performance from the winners from the heats competing for the major prizes.
Becca Gill performed a lovely dance to ‘When She Loved You’ and gained a place in the Semi Finals in the Junior Dance Category with Team Ritz and Kiara Cavenagh knocking the audience dead with their performances.
Beautiful songs such as Can you feel the Love Tonight and At Last were performed by Maddie Gould and Alanah Bebendorf both of whom making it through to the semi finals. Route 66 was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience with Kathleen Maloney rendition.
In the Mature and Motivated Variety section Brett Hann delivered a powerful interpretation of Sometimes I Dream with Lyn Butler performing a very relaxed and most enjoyable performance of Ring of Fire.
A relatively new category in DanSing is the Original Song Section……some great work being written and performed by Tammy Mathieson and Mepa (Melissa Bolt).
Stay updated and tuned to the DanSing Facebook for clips of all performers and winners of the Heats.
Look forward to catching up with you and seeing you at the Heats to come (Tuesday & Wednesday), the Semi Finals and Grand Final day/night on Saturday 29th October.
