Night one of heats…….Quest for Talent has proved once again to provide the platform for the talented performers from not only the local area but also from the wider Brisbane area.

Congratulations to Meaghan Broad , Hayley Tronson & Caitlin Mc Mahon for an energetic performance of ‘ I want to dance with somebody’ and Alla Yarosh and Kiara Cavenagh  with their performance of ‘People Helping People’…a popular selection for Heat One. All three acts have been invited to perform at the Semi finals on Saturday.

A slick performance from Igor Scholz with ‘Moondance’ followed by a very polished performance from Georgia Bell with ‘Hallelujah I just love him so’ had the audience on the edge of their seats enjoying the very relaxed and professional performance from these two most obviously talented performers.

In the Adult sections, Didi Leslie danced her way to the judges hearts with her routine to ‘Where I Stood’,while Nick Pound moved and grooved his way to ‘Canned Heat’.

Not to be out done, the Mature & Motivated section saw the way for Faye Seng to deliver a favourite from Sister Act also making it through to the semi finals.

This year’s original song section was very popular with the first night of heats showing off once again the wonderful talented performers.  Georgia Bell wooed the judges with her song ‘Roma Street’.

After the first night of Heats the judges Brad Rush, Renee Allotta and Noel Sheridan are looking forward to being further entertained by the entrants in Quest for Talent.

You can catch some of this talent at the next Heats , Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th October at the Goodna RSL Function Centre commencing at 7pm.

The Semi finals and finals will be held on Saturday 27th October 2:30pm and 7pm at the Jacaranda Festival in Evan Marginson Park, Goodna.
