SCOUTS and Guides of Ipswich will swap the usual outdoor pursuits to showcase their singing, acting and dancing skills on the Festival Stage with the Limestone Revue.
The modern multi-skill production has seen an all-age cast of 31 plucked from the Scout and Guide movement in the Ipswich area and rehearse for three months to deliver an amazing performance which will gain them credits toward a range of awards.
Production team member Darren Frank said the Limestone Revue was one of the major training and team-building exercises undertaken by the Moreton Region Scouts.
“It provides a great opportunity for youth members to learn skills in stagecraft, to develop ability in expressing themselves and grow in self confidence,” he said.
The cast have been rehearsing every Sunday for five hours since July.
