Night two of the heats…….And Wow! Once again the talent was amazing. The age of performers ranged from 4 years old to mature and motivated (their age is a secret). Such talent! The night was filled with quite a few first timers who wowed the audience. It’s great to see the performers take the opportunity the Quest provides to perform in a relaxed but professional environment.
Performers invited back to participate in the Semi Finals on Saturday from the Junior Sections are: Tara Biddle, with her energetic and well limbered routine of ‘Never liked you’; plus Tara & Madison Price with a dynamic duo to Radar. In the variety section an excellent and fun performance from Scatter Crew with an excellent arrangement of a Sound of Music Medley. Savannah Foran-McDaniel really got into her character with her lovely song ‘Part of this World’.
The Intermediate sections – such a hard decision for the judges; and such wonderful talent. Going through to the semi- finals is Fernando Dos Reis after he wooed the judges and the crowd with ‘Be Alright’, together with Lauren Illing performing the favourite ‘Orange Coloured Sky’ and knocking the audience dead with her performance.
Adult and Mature and Motivated sections: Both Melissa Kellie & Georgia Waters delivered great performances with the songs ‘ Make you feel My Love’ and ‘Flightless Bird American Mouth’, while Kellie impressed the judges and audience with her own song ‘Time Flies By’. Remember their ages are secret…Kristina Hancock & Trudi Kemp had some great moves and harmonies as they performed ‘That Man’; the man with the big voice, Brett Hahn fabulous performance of ‘To where you Are’. Great work everyone.
