The Semi Finals are here! Quest for Talent – Entrants are arriving all very excited in readiness for the Semi’s.

Junior Dance
Opening the Semi Finals was Zion, Shannon and Kira with a very cute number ‘Put a little love in your heart’ and they certainly did just that.
Meaghan looked gorgeous and performed a tap number to ‘The A Train’ with excellent timing and good sounds a great job Meaghan , as did Charlotte with ‘Do your thing’ showing some great moves.
Talk about some great moves, Bounty strutted their stuff once again with their hip hop number. Cool!
Tenille partied with her number ‘Party in the USA’ and showed her lovely jazz style, while Lilya danced to ‘Call Me Maybe’ with a fabulous routine and her well limbered movements.
Finishing off the Junior Dance is the 3 Sisters performing ‘Terikiai’, very traditional and a beautiful dance number.
Junior Variety
The Quest for Talent winner from last year commenced the Junior Variety section with a great performance of ‘Upside Down’ while on second was April with a beautiful performance to ‘Part of that World’.
Melissa’s performance of Wings was lovely with Abigail’s selection ‘Top of the World’ showing off her strong developing voice.
‘Skinny Love’ was Chelsea’s choice for the afternoon and showed her multi skills with singing and playing the keyboard….very nice.
Finishing off the section was a bright and energetic number to ‘Me Party’ by Lilya.
Again this is going to be difficult for the judges….good luck
Intermediate Variety
Another previous winner from Quest for Talent Georgia opened the Intermediate section with a very moving performance of ‘Run to You’ and looking beautiful , followed by an excellent performance and crowd pleaser from Ashleigh singing ‘Call me Irresponsible’.
So much talent here at the Festival, next on is Chelsie with ‘Wake me up’ self accompanied on guitar, great work while a fabulous musical theatre number was performed by Jasmine who showed her multi skills has an actor, singer and dancer. Great!
Ben was next with his great moves and song to ‘Keep your Head up’. The final entrant for the Intermediate section was Kalisha performing to ‘All I could do is Cry’ …a very sincere and strong performance.
Adult Dance
Wow…what a beautiful performance from Jasmine dancing to ‘Colour Blind’, great technique and expressive performance. Tara changed the tempo a little and performed a strong and well attacked routine to ‘Black Betty’.
The judges have their work cut out for them with this much talent.
Amelia was next up with ‘Impossible’ showing style, grace and good technique.
‘Give up the Funk’ was the Here’s to Life Dancers’ choice for their tap number with the team working well together and doing a great job. The audience showing their enthusiasm.
Adult Variety
A lovely duo opened the Adult Variety section with ‘From this Moment On’ excellent job Kris & Mel and with some lovely harmonies.
Nick was next with his arrangement of ‘Kiss from a rose’…he told the story very well and captured the audience with his performance.
From a duo to a solo, Melissa performing a very memorising ‘Danny Boy’ , just lovely. Kris followed (also after performing in a duo) with ‘One Heart with a Million Voices’ …fantastic performance Kris.
Tammy was the final entrant in the Adult Variety section with a beautiful rendition of ‘Tell Him’. Lovely work.
Mature & Motivated
What a wonderful section..’Mature & Motivated’. The entrants have so much fun which spills over to the audience. Some great work.
No Time to Practise, fabulous name for a group performing ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’, great harmonies and some nice moves, good work girls. Not to be out done by the girls, Paul was next performing ‘Clementine’……followed by the second group item from the Here’s to Life Dancers dancing to ‘St Louis Blues’ , looking fabulous girls.
Then the big voice of Brett with a beautiful song ‘The Prayer’ just magical. Kristina & Trudi completed the M & M section with ‘Titanium’, looking very elegant and singing beautifully.
Oh! to be a Judge right now.

The following entrants are so creative and so talented.
To open we have Melissa with ‘Baby Please Don’t Cry’ a beautiful performance and lyrics….well done. Tammy was next with ‘I don’t miss you’, a very convincing performance and lyrics while accompanying yourself on keyboard. Good work.
Only three more entrants to perform in the Semi finals – results are slowly coming in. The announcements will be made very shortly.
Next on is Ashleigh with a very passionate and sensitive performance to ‘One in a Million’, just beautiful. All the girls are looking amazing with their beautiful gowns.
Kris was next looking very relaxed and delivering a great number in ‘ Believe in Me’. Our final entrant is Georgia performing ‘A Dedication’, very moving performance.
And…drum roll…….the finalists are:
