• WEB IGNITE REVAMPS ONLINE PLATFORM FOR GOODNA JACARANDA FESTIVAL

Goodna’s 48-year-old Jacaranda Festival has had its online presence and digital infrastructure revamped by Brisbane-based digital agency, Web Ignite.  As a Digital Partner to the Jacaranda Festival, Web Ignite have provided a complete pro bono website re-design to help raise the profile and online reach of the annual event.  Commercially valued at $8,000, the new website and back-end development for the Festival features a completely rebuilt mobile-responsive design which allows visitors an optimised viewing experience on any mobile, tablet or computing device, along with a proprietary registration platform developed specifically for the Festival’s administration.  The back-end of the website not only serves as the editing platform for the website’s pages, but also allows administrators to set up payment options for the popular Talent Quest’s entrants, track entrant registration, and send notifications to entrants on the status of their registration.

“We are absolutely thrilled to launch the new website for Goodna Jacaranda Festival,” said William Siu, Web Ignite’s Managing Director.  “On both a personal and company level we have always had a strong focus on philanthropy, and we are so proud to be able to support the community by doing what we do best and providing the Festival with a tech overhaul and digital facelift.”

The Goodna Jacaranda Festival runs from October 18th to the 25th 2015, attracting crowds in the tens of thousands, with proceeds distributed to various local community efforts.  The Festival boasts a highly popular Talent Quest, Sideshow Alley, and Car Show.  Along with the festivities are numerous stalls, competitions, and even spectacular fireworks displays.
