The Goonda Jacaranda Festival is back again in 2019 and has hit the ground running according to festival President Matthew Taylor.
“This year will see some positive changes to the program and overall line-up to ensure the event remains fresh and sustainable now and for future years to come,” he said
Since 1967 the Goodna Jacaranda Festival has been a much-loved community festival that celebrates the wonderfully diverse lifestyle in our region.
With something for everyone including live music, talent shows, pop-up bars, market stalls, food trucks, side show alley and a huge fireworks finale – you cannot afford to miss it.
In addition to a refreshed program the festival planning committee has taken the positive steps to appoint specialist festival event managers ‘Kinetic’ to work alongside the committee to guide and take the festival to the next level.
Kinetic has a reputation for producing turn-key community festivals and major events for over 15 years and holds some of the best credentials around. Other major festivals include the famous Teneriffe Festival, Valley Fiesta, Picnic In The Park and Queensland Multicultural Week to name a few.
More than 10,000 people are expected to take to Evan Marginson Park in Goodna on the 25th, 26th and 27th October to celebrate this long-standing community event.
Get involved in this fantastic community event; We’re currently accepting applications from performers, stall holders, food vendors and community groups. Volunteers are also welcome to apply to help us.
