We are pleased and excited to announce that in 2019, we are launching the Jacaranda Dance Spectacular. This fantastic new event is built to showcase the broad array of young dance talent, and to give all those great dance groups in our schools and community groups a chance to shine on stage!
To help us, we’re stoked that local Dance Teacher and Choreographer Rosanna Evola is going to be organising the event. Rosanna has extensive experience in choreography, teaching dance at local primary schools, and individual choreography with many of her dances performed at various eisteddfods throughout Queensland and overseas.
This three hour Dance Spectacular is available to students of multiple ages and options for Solos, Duo/Trios and groups. Entries are encouraged from anyone or any group who loves to dance and wants the opportunity to perform on the Jacaranda Festival Main Stage.
Our 2019 dance competition will be held on the 10 meter Jacaranda Main Stage on October 27th.
Winners will receive our inaugural trophies and be featured on our website and social media.
